THE WORLD TODAY: ISN'T THAT WAY

 

You think the world’s a beautiful place

There’s love and care

Trust and faith for life

Promises and commitments to fulfill

Forgive and forget attitude still remains    

But trust me…. It isn’t that way

It’s a cruel world out there

Time is so valuable that

There’s no time for love and care

 

People make commitments but

Don’t have time to fulfill them

People let you make dream castles

And then break them themselves

They don’t care for what you think

They don’t care for what you go through

They don’t care how much ever a thing means to you

They just care for how they want it to be

Trust me… it isn’t the way you thought

 

People will take up all kind of tasks

But… just to drop them mid way

They don’t care what others may feel

After all it’s their comfort that comes first

They’ll do anything if they must

So that things bring them happiness

And wont even hesitate to break your trust

Trust me…. It’s cruel out there

 

Friends these days are worse than enemies

To trust friends is the biggest mistake to make

Enemies are better because you know

They are surely going to bring you pain

And won’t stab behind the back

They’ll come in open and do the needful

Forgive and forget attitude is not found anywhere

It is revenge first and then forget if at all you must

Trust me. …It’s a mean world out there

 

Humanity has gone to the dogs

Feelings of others have taken a rest

Trust and faith are words that

Are prevalent only in the dictionary

Promises and commitments are made to break

Tasks are taken up to drop them mid way

Definition of friendship has changed

Enemies are considered to be better

Trust me the world that you thought off

Now remains a part of dreams and fairy tail

And are not to be found anywhere now

Realize the truth……… and learn of the world now
