I’m standing here all alone

Thinking of the days gone by

Scared and nowhere to turn

Afraid of the days passing me by.

 

Can’t believe just a few days ago

You held me tight and told me so

Everything was gonna be alright

And I know that you for once

Were’nt right.

 

Now am deep in pain

Cause I never told you what I gained

By you being next to me

Nurturing my heart, soul and me.

And to live it with a smile

While standing by your side

Watching you turn into the angel
