I Can't

I cant look away!

I can't take the pain.!

I must try to hide

Because they're screaming my name!

I can't close my eyes!

I can't turn off the lights!

I can't go to sleep

Or I'll be buried six feet deep!

I'm scared by what I see

And I know much worse will come!

I'm paralyzed by my fears!

I'm blinded by my tears!

I'm choking on my screaming!

How I wish that I was dreaming!

Breathing in my last breath,

I smell the stench of horrid death!

I can see a sweet white light

And I know it ends here tonight.
