CARELESS SPIRIT

I've lived enough, this body has gone old
Now I long to caress the clouds, separate my body and soul
I've laughed and cried enough, for countless times
But now I no longer want this life of mine.

I long to be free, to live high in the sky
I long to defy Gravity, or at least give it a try
I long to be a part of another place
My body and soul vanishing without a trace
I long to bid a final adieu
To drift away from this body and in Heaven become new
I've had my share of ups and downs, now the limit is the sky
I long to be a careless spirit, I long to fly high.

But for all my pleas I'm still not dead
I'm alive and kicking instead
Earth is still my home, here I lie
Let alone reach Heaven, I don't even die
I was once happy, now dissatisfaction is all I've got
I long to be a careless spirit, but I'm not.
