THE SEARCH

Somewhere deep within, deep in here

I feel the power, I feel it gear,

Someone, who constantly,

Keeps a perfect watch on me.

He knows where I am going,

He knows what I am doing,

He knows how I feel,

How I feel just all the time.

Nothing’s esoteric anymore,

I am an open book!

I have searched deep down the core,

Help me someone! Can you please take a look?

I am scared, I am being followed,

On every path, on every road,

I can never stay alone,

Who are you? Hope I could have known.

Lost in my own thoughts,

I sat on a rock seat.

He kept his hand on my shoulder

And then He touched my feet.

Frantically I looked up

Before he could leave again,

I tried to get a glimpse of Him

A glimpse but just in vain.

I wonder who could it  be

Who keeps a perfect watch on me

He’s always there, I am aware,

But who is He? To know I dare!

Ever since I was child

I have felt His presence

Am I sharing Him with someone else?

In knowing Him lies the essence.

I have never talked about You  to anyone,

Yet everyone seems to know, everyone!

I’ve asked You sundry questions,

But you have answered none!

I am lost , mystified,

I am perplexed , petrified.

Will You ever tell me who you are?

You’re around me, in me, I know

But yet You seem too far.

I don’t   know why I trust You

I don’t know but I do

I don’t know why I love You

I don’t know, but I do.

You have always put me to test

My thoughts , my feelings and all  the rest.

You know them ,You know them all,

To know me better ,just  give them a call!

But You know me more than I know myself,

I know I am Your love,

I know You are being shared,

I know You love one and all.

I know You are always there

Guiding, loving all those who care.

I once looked into the eye

Of the person I love

I was shocked ! But it is true,

That I have finally found YOU!
