Why have you gone away?

Since you went faraway,

Time has taken a full sway.

Where is that day,

When you and me were so gay?

When in the verdant, serene lap of nature,

We together used to lay,

Along the endless bay.

Now, being in solitude,

I feel as if

I am deprived of even a single love ray.

Now, I only pray

OH! God, return me that day,

with full joy,

when we enjoyed  the month of MAY.

Or , Death, please take me a long way

Where no one can ever say,

They have soft corner on their hearts for meh.
