Fear

Taken to a place,

so far away.

To a dark room,

alone today.

Trembling with fear,

as you walk into the room.

I get thrown out,

as spring starts to bloom.

I ran away,

to a foreign place.

Far away,

in this chase.

You kept me frozen,

away from happiness.

You said you'd love me,

then that one last kiss.

I've always wondered,

what it's like to be loved.

Will I be free,

as free as a dove?

Keep me secret,

away from the light.

I opened my eyes,

they were full of fright.

I wanted to run,

I wanted to hide.

Away from you

I will ride.
