'cause you never fail
it is just that your virtual comfort
takes precedence over the real effort

People talk about failed relationships
how foolish!
its just that they let a loved one slip
after initial tears and internal jeers
you again get to a new high
not to forget the clean eyes after every cry.

Peers talk about failure in examinations
what rubbish!
its just that they did not know the required answers.
in scramble for the top, few get pushed aside.
even they allow the hope of glory to reside
.just waiting for some other day
when others shall peacefully make way.

Some also talk about failures in life.
how bizarre!
with perfect pulse and racy heartbeat
his emotions shredded to bits on the street
beating his chest and tearing his hair apart
for heaven's sake - give him another chance
he shall put in effort to get really smart.

The moment failure gets into your head
you are as good as dead
think!
in an useless race between top and bottom
you are even losing
the divine pleasure of autumn.
