A Kiss In The Wind

Deep Within Me

I blew a kiss your way..
and told the wind to sway..
where you would be waiting..
to hear it whisper softly
what you had wanted to hear and feel
I wished a wish ..
a tender touch and a soft voice..
to be felt deep inside me..
But I knew not when I slept
and crept into a flight of imagination
with you by my side
floating away to a tryst with eternity
Lying in your arms and watching you with serenity
Holding you close to my heart and soul
I make you my very own..
You take my heart away when you hold me
You take my breath away when you kiss me
Oh my love! I feel you deep within me
Down to the very soul of mine
Alas! Here I wake up to find you gone..
Leaving me with a deep sense of emptiness..
Though a sweet pain inside me cried out
"How can thou be empty...when you have me deep within you"
And that is all I wanted to hear. deep within me!
