AN ODE TO
BEAUTY
Everything to do with sensory perception
little bit contributed by mental conception
some are external, others internal
rarely are they universal.
Some are handsomely different
others are absolutely succulent
A flowing river, waves in the sea
flowers in the garden, peanut in the pea
a high rise mountain,
somebody soaked up in the rain
might be little genius
or absolutely insane.
Ogle at the beauty of nature
marvel at the lot many distorted stature.
Twin towers of WTC crashing
be it the numerous cameras flashing
its all between heart and head
not necessarily in motion
it can also be death bed.
If beauty was always about joy
nobody would ever care
for the painful pearls- o dear BOY!
cut me short- forget everything I said
till beauty lasts.... we must ENJOY!
