A FRIEND INDEED

A FRIEND INDEED!

When in the morning,
My father told me that
I am sending you in boarding, my sweet daughter.
I thought what would be the surroundings there?
With whom will I share my feelings?
Will my mother be there?
I got the answer, the day I entered.
I was excited to see a new place.
But all in vain
When I came to know that
I have to search for a second mother here.
Four years passed, no one was there for me.
I was all alone, looking for a good friend
Who patiently sits with me and listens
But I had faith that I will get someone.
Someone, somewhere was there for me.
And finally, this faith took me to that person
For whom I was searching since four years.
She was loved by me,
She is loved by me and
Will always be loved by me.
She became that person
With whom I shared each 'n' every feeling.
She became the person who sat with me
And always patiently listened to my grievances
I love her forever,
I always enjoyed her company.
But nothing lasts forever
So do my stay with her.
She left me alone with all her memories.
Making me think of her
I love her very much.
