Which One Of Us
(for Bipin)

Which one of us is unable to sleep tonight?

Restless, scattered thoughts roam the surface,

deep-rooted dreams reflecting half-forgotten fears.

Help me learn how to let go-don't let me keep us

awake. We shattered the boundaries,

joined this fabric with seams invisible as salt in tears.

Oh god, our heart is breaking, our souls weep

as one! Nothing mattered until we found

each other. Time streams from moments into endless years

for us to enjoy, to sweeten and steep. Drink slow;

soothe these battered parts of you and me

in the moonbeams, stirring this brew till it clears.
