your first cries made her feel elated
when she felt your breath
touched your soft nose and
kissed you on the forehead
this life goes on

When you rolled on the mud
She ran after you
You tasted a pinch
She turned red and blue
Now you took your first step
She's the happiest soul with feelings unexpressed
You sit then walk
She runs to pick you up at every fall
Without any fear you can easily walk

For the first time you spoke MA!
With watery eyes she kissed you gala
She has seen a lot of dreams
To see you big and one amongst the creams
The time has come for the first day to school

Made many friends and growing fine
Running madly after the first bell

Running at your peak are your teens

Fighting hard between maturity and childhood
Gone is your adolescence
