Life, you’re the most interesting book I’ve ever read.

What mystery haunts thy pages, I hardly know.

Each page of yours turns on a new leaf;

And takes me high to pastures unknown!

Is it the unexpected twist you offer me?

Or those rampant turns you hover at me?

Perhaps, a bit of both makes you endearing.

Not all our surprises, though, are pleasant;

Yet, the thought that you are a gift from God ,

Makes me love you all the more!
