AIDS: The Fatal Killer

His body reduced to a half,

Weighs but a dismal mass.

His sunken eyes filled with sorrow,

Narrates the untold misery endured.

His face downcast and grated with lines,

Shows the humiliation and insult borne.

His faltering limbs and shaky hands,

Reveal the adversity he is troubled with.

His sad speech and doleful expression

Recites the story of his solitude.

His secluded room in its empty state,

Renders our heart with an arid gloom.

The dreary vacuum and the pain borne

Makes us think all the more…

Why  this apathy for an AIDS victim?

Why do we let them relent alone;

When you and I can make a difference.

All he needs is a little more care,

And with it we can bring a smile to his face.
