Standing tall, like a wall
The great pyramids of Egypt;
Peaking high, without a sigh
The true symbols of Egypt.
Embodying the
soul of the pharaohs
And speaking of the great civilization;
Gleaming stories of a king and queen
Giving us an idea of all that was sheen.
If I were a
pharaoh and had to build one
I would build one right here on this soil;
For I would have it in my backyard
To show all the people of all that hard toil.
But neither am
I Ramses nor a Nefertiti
Nor an Egyptian living on the banks of Nile;
You go on and admire the greatness of the pyramids
But Let alone this poor Indian to rest for a while.
