A SILENT WALK IN THE
WOODS
When the night
awakens and the day closes
You shower your smile upon a bucketful of roses;
When I watch you beneath the naked sun
For you don’t know those stars, that ignominiously shun.
When I met you
today:
With your face dropped as an autumn leaf;
With hatred as guardian, smile, an orphan
With fear in eyes, and the love you despise.
You stopped walking
and stared at the sky
For dreams those days, was really that high;
Then you looked down upon the ground
Defeat! Hatred! Were the only known sounds?
This is life! Dear!
Face it with a smile
And I promise you won’t pause for a while;
There are times when things are really shocking
Listen to me, don’t stop…. keep walking.
