Life goes on

Deep down the seas and high up the sky
It's both dark and light
Dark is dull, still dim is light
It's all about the shades of life
Life that gives us peace and joy
Full of adventure and delight

But, it's not the same all the time
Joys and sorrows are a part of life
Bliss and solitude again unlike
Yet we ought to survive
With you oh dear life
You are so short, we need to realize

Years, months and days
Hours, minutes, seconds, any moment you may terminate
But before you depart, we need to realize
You are precious, oh dear life
You are a span blessed on us by the mighty lord
From the mothers' womb to the point of halt

The creator has sent us with a goal
And has blessed us with a soul
Wake up; search for divine light, the light that purifies
The light that heals and glows inside
Burns the dirt and things alike
God knows when the life will wither
There will then be no pain, no sighs, no laughter
