IN WOLF'S CLOTHING

Garbed in grey
Exuding decency
 Striding pompously
 Across the stage
Supercilious smiles
Play on refined lips
 Such distilled breeding
Holds all in awe!

 But wild instincts
 Simmer menacingly
 Nature's truest state
 Suppressed in layers
 Of civilised hues
 All coiled to vault
 In manner so vile
On plain innocence.

 Such baser hunger
 In sudden flashes
 Bares horrid fangs
 In lustful fits
 Sinks all pangs
On fair maidens
 Chaste or wedded
 No cares showered.
