Happy Birthday Baby (Sallie's Day)

Its much too complex to write out how I feel
Your much too beautiful for the ordinary spiel
I've already crossed out half a dozen lines
I suppose its hardest to write the
poems which aren't from the mind
But they are more like feelings from the heart
And transforming them into sentances is
impossable when the words won't even start
Maybe I'll just tell you I love you
and you being my girl-friend has been a dream come true
The pretty, clever lines just won't do
when all that I want to say is I love you
