YOU AND ONLY YOU

Though, You are not near enough,
for me to hold you.
But, you reach from the farthest end,
Whenever, I need you.

You are not the strongest man,
Nor the man with the best wit.
But, you are the best man for me,
Because, You love my every bit.

Our thinking might not synchronize,
And, I concede, you are more wise.
In all my troubles and in my pains,
I seek your exquisite words of advice.

Whenever I reach with
words and voice,
You patiently listen,
you have no choice.

But, when you understand
my implicit silence.
It comforts my nerves,
and I am no more tense.

You heighten my hopes.
You strengthen my dreams.
You build bridges, Between,
'life's turbulent streams'.

All sweetest whispers,
My silence echoes.
He sires life and,
Then gracefully he goes.

I skip a heartbeat,
I have not been loved so much.
At night I am wide-awake,
Thinking, the way you touch.

You have all the goodness,
That could ever be in men.
And, you have all the love,
That can be felt by a woman.

I quiver and I tremble,
So puissant, is your breath.
In your arms, I want to be,
When my life hugs death.
