'DON'T EXPECT TOO MUCH'

His endeavor is atrocity.
His generosity is pain.
Still, we ask and we need,
We expect all in vain.

I asked for faith,
He cemented it with deceit.
I asked him to walk,
He brutally cut my feet.

I asked for truth,
He gifted sugar-coated lies.
I asked for rain,
He showed me cloudless skies.

I asked for hours,
He stole away moments.
I asked for life,
He blessed it with torments.

I asked for love,
He loved me with disdain.
I asked for strength,
He empowered me with pain.

I asked for a future,
He planned nightmares.
This is how, God,
Answers my prayers.

Breathe, Eat and Drink this fact
"Nothing is in your hands as such"
Golden rule of Happiness
Hence is "Don't expect too much".
