RENDEZVOUS WITH HER
moment of everlasting pulchritude

Oh dear,
Can't you remember?
that cool, breezy night in December;
with streets so open and bare,
welcoming only who dare,
I walked in my usual musty moods of aimlessness,
of course, with my friend loneliness...
then
amidst the resonance of silence;
came that moment of our confluence,
with that unforgettable 'n sultry melody,
You asked,
"can I know the time please"?
time ,
oh my
blinded in the electric of your lovely green eyes,
locked in the magic of your radiant pretty face;

all I did was to go weak in my knees;
hit by a thunderbolt,
totally still,
and
shamelessly dull,
I stood there without a jolt,

then,,
came back the resounding giggle
which still rings in my ear'
followed by a "oh don't mind".
how could I don't mind
been all along so blind
my  dear,' that moment'
wasn't a moment
it was a lifetime;
stretching across the bounds of immeasurable joy,
that left an eternal fountain,
inspiring me,
to pen down million romantic thoughts.....

that event,
wasn't a event,
a mishap it was;
drowning into the depths of unimaginable agony,
that left a painful wound,
bleeding me ,
to crave for pathos of myriad unfulfilled draughts'

it was more than a moment,
forever deeply engraved;
in this little heart of mine,

following me in every space I loved,
and
chasing me in every time I craved.

oh 'that moment',

is that what u asked me, my love?

let me tell you now
it was ten past nine...
