For my valentine

Caught I was, in the cold and chill, In the dull and deep winter,
I longed for sunshine all my life, Which never entered my home,
Leaving my spirit sinking, awaiting a glimpse of sun
Not a day or two, but twenty three years of time,
Was all winter in my life.
Till that day, when I felt a warmth, like never ever before,
I knew not what it was, but sure could feel it good
It took me two more years to know , that it was
the warmth of a heart, a beautiful little soul.
Then I knew, that spring is on its way ,
With its enchanting fragrance and the blossoming flowers .
I was urged within, to explore the warmth,
And the light beneath it too.
I am still exploring the source of light, and am glad to know,
That it is not spring, but a beautiful warm summer,
A never ending summer, which blossoms up my garden.
And I know for sure, that its forever, b'cos,
It's LUSTROUS WITHIN ITSELF, to make my life better.
