Passing away from streets of Kashmir,
Clouds of smoke surrounds them like a white sheet of
death
Nothing is seen except violence and bloodshed
A woman cries her heart in helpless misery
Seeing her husband blown up to pieces in that
unfortunate territory
Her cries are heard all the way ,but no one appears to
free her from this misery
She looks at her God ,seeking an answer
Cries her heart out , begging for his forgiveness
She sees her love ,lying there like a brave soldier in
white sheet
She cant let him go for her heart is filled with his
love and sweetness
She cries away tears , with no one to take her away
from this darkness
Her mind is filled with memories of all those happy
moments
Those days are remembered when happiness was in the
air
All was filled with beauty and peace and love was
everywhere
Now all that's left is violence and bloodshed
Blood is everywhere with death standing at the door
Families losing their loved ones in the times of War
She was once a woman with love shining her eyes
Now all that is seen is tears flowing from her heart
No longer can her bindiya , the symbol of her love be
seen
The sweet tinkling of bangles that once filled the
angaan is no longer heard
She was a once a newly wed with eyes filled with
dreams
But Now she is the Woman in White Veil with no desires
but emptiness beneath
