THE SWEETNESS OF LIFE

Sweet nothings whispered in the lover's ear
Innocent hearts sharing their first touch

Vows exchanged in a memorable kiss
Lifetime togetherness for an eternal bliss

Memories so sweet of the childhood days
Pranks played in those mischievous ways

Walking hand in hand in the moonlit beach
Sharing a moment with a passionate touch

Happiness seen on the mother's face seeing her new
born
Watching her child grow up from a baby to a healthy
boy

Family gatherings ,thanksgiving feasts
Generations together for a lifetime living happily

Tears flowing from the eyes of the parents
Watching their daughters leave like a new bride

Dancing in the rains in happiness and joy
Enjoying the first shower swinging on trees so high

Living fearlessly in their happy homes
No fear of war signals or bombing zones

When life is meant to be so tender and sweet
Then why this heart of mine still weeps?
Seeing the world now as such a terror
I wish I could feel this sweetness of life without any
fear.
