GIVE IT A THOUGHT

Every morning I wake up,
Thinking today will be different,
Conversing with little things-unnoticed
But the day soon ends; night creeps up,
Leaving a millions of unanswered questions.

Have you ever pampered a thought?
And watch it bloom and grow.

Have you ever been choked with emotions?
Yet wish to speak a thousand words.

Have you ever spared time?
To watch the butterflies fly
And the sun dipped in twilight sky.

Have you ever spent sleepless nights?
Busy talking to the stars

Have you ever-stayed late in bed?
Wishing your dreams never end.

Have you ever made a mistake?
And really felt sorry about it.

Have you ever read poetry?
Feeling the emotions flow

Or have you just lived a life
Full of constraints, full of rules,
To miss it all
Little things around us,
Little dreams full of love,
Are just like,
Little steps towards God
Dear friend, give it a thought.
