Return to Innocence

Mother…

I have walked out from the wild

and come to  you as a child

I know this World can never harm

When you take me in your arm

From the day you put me down

and made me walk on my own

Mother, I have only wept

     and I have never slept

The roads ahead are steep

and my wounds are hard and deep

In my heart I suffer and weep

       Mother, make me fall asleep

In your hands again

I can forget all my pain

In your love so pure

     I can get my cure

Mother…

I wish to kill my sense

       and return to innocence

I love to spend my days

       blinking in your face

I have come out from the wild

       as a broken little child

I am wounded very much

    Mother,cure me with your touch

In a world that I have seen

there is no one like you have been

So take me once again

and make me lose my pain

For I wish to crawl and cry

In your arms, before I die
