Lord!

I never asked for the night

    with the stars and their glowing light

I never asked for the days

     with the sun and its glorious rays

 

I never asked for the rivers

       the streams and the blooming flowers

I never asked for the breeze

       and  the dance of the lovely trees

 

I never asked for the rain

     and the rainbows to come again

I never asked for the spring

     and the lovely birds to sing

 

Lord!

You gave me what I have not

   wished or asked or thought

But why are you silent now

    when I ask you for her love

 

When you can give the colours

    to all the blooming flowers

 when you can light the skies

    and make that sun to rise

Why cant you get me now

      what I feel I love

 

why is that you too?

    cant make my love come true

Is she more than worth?

     the stars ,skies and the earth

Is she more than what ?

     all that I have got………….
