Happy Birthday

Its long since I wrote a poem
'coz I didn't have the time
to think of something beautiful - and
to write of something wonderful

Come January, it gets colder
and you turn a year older
but at heart, feel young
coz you have a lot, which is yet unsung

Its nice to have known you, girl
for which I thank aol
'coz good people are hard to meet
and to meet one, is no small feat

A day shall come, when you reach fame
a time shall come, when the world hails your name
You shall take the world in your stride
and to have known you, I shall take pride

Till then, be patient my yaar
things are near, though they seem far
and that it happens soon
is all I I'll ask if given a boon.

Let all your dreams come true
and there be nothing left to rue
and your life be filled with gay
and all days go your way

To bless you, I'm not a sage
to advice you, I don't have age
but towards you I express empathy
have a nice b'day - ***** *********
