CHILDHOOD

Enquiring, credulous, innocent, and joyous.
Celebrate childhood- the age of boisterous.
Climbing a hillock, running downhill next.
Playing noisily, watching the birds' nest
Bubbling with enthusiasm, bursting with zest.
Salutations to childhood- the eternal spirit of quest.
Bungee jumping, Para trooping- is all but a child's play.
Thou art true soldier and don't have feet of clay.
Inquisitive to the core- courageous in the extreme.
Conquer the universe- thou - the explorer supreme.
It will be wise indeed if the grownup give childhood a chance.
Its intuition and clear vision will help the world advance.
No more will then be clashes of ego and vanity.
Childhood- the great equalizer- will usher in sanity.
Where is the Utopia-the ideal state?
Surely where people are wise and innocent.
And when can innocence be had with intelligence?
Surely in the childhood par excellence.
No wonder, before Pandora had opened the lid.
All were happy because everyone was but a kid.
