Touch of Love

 What was I before,
 That touch, silky?
 My Heart flying,

 Not reaching the ground,
 I sailed home,
 From honey lips' caress.

 Wondering is this the one?
 I cried out,
 Dreaming of embrace.

 Embrace, sweet
 Learn what love is
 A long gentle journey.

 Journeys' winding path
 With valleys
 Mountains,

 Terrible storms
 Lashing us,
 Drenched in life's hardships

 But it was two
 Making us strong
Facing the same direction, hand in hand

 That was years ago
 When hearts enfolded
 Lives became one.

 My journal confesses,
 My changes, in faded ink,
 Testimony, before that touch.
