Dear Grandma

- a tribute

She was the pillar in our family,

Tha source of support to one and all.

Many fond memories,

Each of us do recall.

She possessed to a great degree,

The power of will,

"The never give up" attitude towards life,

In all of us, she did instill.

The lady so loving and caring,

Is still amongst us, how I wish.

The lady so courageous,

Her departed soul, may rest in peace.

"Kalyan" will never be the same,

Without your pretty smiling face.

We will miss you, dear Grandma,

You our beloved "Iron Lady".

You have set a marvellous example,

By donating your precious eyes.

Whenever in need of some valuable advice,

I will look up at you, the brightest star in the sky....
