ONLY WITH DARKNESS
Only with darkness can there be light. Only with struggle can there be might. First comes loss, before one can gain, And with blessed pleasure, comes the pain
Only with partings, can kindred meet, With the bitter comes the sweet, From boundless strength, there weakness bleeds, The firmest man is roused by greed.
Only with grief, can joy come once more. Only failure, can one soar. Wield the power, and pay the price, Glory is stained, without sacrifice.
Only with suffering does one truly know life. Only a few have lived without a moment’s strife. A man judges poor before he is wise. The greatest of kings still meet their demise.
Only with courage does one fear cowardice. Only by his absence is one is truly missed. Villains repent and saints may sin. Strong is defeat, stronger is the will to win.
