Mind Spring

The human mind like a spring
Recorder, interpreter and image maker of everything.

Gifts of senses and words with music to sing
Time for doing and also listening.

The mind like the body must change and grow
How else can we contribute and also sow.

Time for fun and things we know
Bathed inside of the mind will be an afterglow.

Our minds need to rest for the spring to coil
Energy needs regeneration else decisions may soil.

Time is wasted watching water come to a boil
In order to receive, man must contribute his toil.

As in most things some have more and some have less
But even our gifted know and understand the joy in happiness.

A child cannot survive all alone
It must have love, be protected and have the safety of a home.

It is the children who suffer because of man
"Suffer not the children," was and is, God's command.

Every child is of the family of God and also "I am"
The innocent one's denied because we refuse to understand.
