God's Children

Each of God's children are special and unique
Only mankind is given the capacity to think and seek.

Every child of God is given a spiritual soul
Purest of pure and always whole.

It has always been man who chooses to build or destroy
He with the mind of an adult and the will of a little boy.

The other part of mankind with thoughts but no voice
Keepers of the future with silent but compassionate choice.

Man has been the spokes person for humanity since day one
Weapons he has built and trying to imitate God built his nuclear sun.

It has been women who have had the strength to stand alone
Always to keep sacred the family and its home.

Man has been in charge since time began and it is a shame
Constantly looking for another God or someone else to blame.

Man and woman share equal responsibility for their given roles
To provide and keep safe every child's God given soul.

The images of earth must reflect concern for children's lives
In the end we will be gone and only they are left to survive.
