A NEW FRIEND

All alone in my room
i lied down on my bed
and closed my eyes
knock-knock
who is it
y'r best friend
i opened the door
your thoughts again
come inside
you r my best friend
who never leaves me alone
who accompanies me all the time
you bring me cheers
you bring me tears
you are with at every moment

remembering your words
remembering your gestures
a moment i smile
a moment i cry
a little of cheers
n a lot of tears

with heavy heart
'n' with a down soul
i stand up
pick a few bucks
'n' called u up
with queries in mind
'n' tears in eyes

what is it? you asked
but what should i say
before calling was thinking
i'll say this
i'll say that
but to whom should i say
who is not related
who is not bothered

a storm spoiled everything
the dead remains were scattered
i was crying with the deadbody
of my dreams in my hands
'n' you were so cold
as if nothing has happened
as if who died wasn't yours
a stranger would have been more comforting

i came back to my room
with tear laden eyes
'n' lied down on my bed
knock-knock
again came my best friend
to accompany me
coz' i was alone
i was wondering about you
is this the one
with whom i wanted to spend my life
is this the one
for whom i cried so long

i woke up i wiped my tears
took the deadbody in my hands
made a grave for it
and burried it deep inside
so that even if i want
i can not dig it out

i came back to my room
and lied down on my bed
closed my ryes
knock-knock
who is it
your best freind again
but this time
i didn't open the door
put my hands on my ears
no more knock-knock
no more room for your thoughts

tired and satisfied
i felt asleep
'n' after a long time
i had a sound sleep
next morning when i woke up
i had a broad smile

with a lot more confidence 'n' courage
i went to the department
'n' everybody asked
something special looking great
ya worries 'n' troubles have left me
no more tears 'n' no more fears
smiles 'n' cheers have accompanied me now
and that is my NEW FRIEND
