Arms in arms, hugging each other
coz the day of parting wasn't a distant reality anymore

The music stopped
but the chimes within, brought back
the countless songs in our minds
from dylan to denver

Metallica says "Nothing else matters"
linkin park says "in the end it doesn't even matter"
words try to guide our mind and soul
but the last eve together, falsifies both

the count of farwells
is not written in blue
but from the unending tears
emotions, at their extremes

So let it be,

the never ending tears, let them drop,
the heartening sighs, let them come
and the deafening silence, outside and within rule,
after all, it will bring us closer.
