I cried today because I could not find you,
and has left me alone, sad and so blue.

I know you are out there somewhere
and I know that you care

When I needed you the most in my life,
helping me deal with my life's strife.

Understanding my faults and mistakes,
knowing it is is hard to bear, ready to break

I need you in my life my dear friend,
and I know you will be by my side til the end.

Soothe my soul, by lending an ear
