JOURNEY THROUGH DRUGS

"My first one took me to heaven

I bought one, while my friend bought seven,

It was a hit I never had before.

I wanted one more, I was sure.

My second one was a killer

I felt as if I am in space or atop a pillar,

My friend was high all the time

He took trips to every place he wanted to go, slowly losing his mind.

My third one I took with my friend

It was a slow one in the end,

We asked the dealer for more, he said he had something strong

Who would have thought it could go so wrong.

He gave my friend some crack, while I stayed with coke

I never saw my friend again he had suffered a stroke,

I couldn't stay long at the funeral I had something to stash

I was back at my dealer's place in a flash.

My fifth one stayed inside me for days

I was rocking until it faced,

I ended up at a rehab totally weak and lean

They talked about getting out to get clean.

I talked about getting out to make some deals.

Their words were right, now I feel

My last one was an overdose of smack

I did get to heaven, yeah, but I never got back."
