The Unglorious Logic

It is really strange
that a sacrifice
which someone has made
for you
can make you feel
enslaved and subdued
because,
you become the debtor
of your benefactor
forever.

So,
uncomfortably
you think over
this nagging poser -
Is all sacrifice a vice
or otherwise?
for if this were to happen
to everyone,
it would, in time,
condemn the entire mankind
to the perpetuity of slavery
of the mind.

Tentatively,
you grope to solve the question
and the logic of all evil
and corruption
ingloriously explains itself
as the likely counterbalance
of the sacrificial slavery.
