Sonnet 924
Come sit with me my love and let me hold
Your soft and tender body next to mine.
Feel the living as passion does enfold
Us with sweetness much grater than the vine.
We shall regain the vision of our youth
The excitement that quickens every breath
As we allow this gnawing passion's tooth
To inflict on us life instead of death.
I want to reaffirm that in my heart
There lies a love as vibrant as before
The world caused it to hide if not depart
And lying there it wishes to give more.
So come my love and let me hold you now
For I remember love and love I vow.
