PONDERINGS
A wailing wind sings a silent lullaby,
To a world asleep, to a summer gone by.
Fluttering snowflakes stoop to kiss
The naked snow, buried memories amiss
I look ahead, I squint my eyes,
No summer sun, just a winter sigh.
I turn around, I try to sing.
Winter snow, was there ever a spring ?
Life went past, when I did sleep.
I woke up to find, no accounts did I keep
I bought frames only to find
Pictures of the past were lost in my mind.
