MY WILL

To everyone of those who have been a part of my life
been with me right through the up and downs
or just lingered for a while comforting in crisis
or merely been a company in the journey of life

I know I never made an impact in your lives
neither with my presence nor with my skills
that is one wish which always eluded reality
this is my last attempt.to realizing it

Well even now if it doesn’t…theres always
Some other time some other place where we'll meet
for they say ones soul lingers along
till it fulfills the desires it carried all long

To the people in the world ,I leave behind a conviction
that there is no heaven anywhere in ether but on earth
no place where you are accepted and forgiven
out here in ether they are not tired of counting your sins.

To the society at large I leave behind a faith and trust
in their systems and their innate desire to do good
and make the earth a better place to live ,while
I could not see it fructify but,I know youll make it someday

My material possessions are a collection of beautiful things
handpicked with diligence tested for perfection
you may share amongst you ,with priorities of preferences
I am sure they would give you a sense of joy even if for a while

To those who have no value for my material things
I leave a collection of thoughts behind scribbled in a book
not all may be inspiring but im sure youll find some to savour
some thoughts may give a lesson or two,helpful to you

To my children I leave behind the memories of their childhood
all those attempts I made,successful or not
to make their day pleasant and happy
I leave them the memories of another day to recall

To all of you I leave one thing without exception
of anyone being left behind or left devoid
memories of me..which are in your mind
sift chaff and retain..if you find anything worthy

Trash them systematically if you don’t
see to it that they are not stuck to your thoughts
unwanted memories clog ones brain
and leave no space for fresh ones to line

Do me a favour…please do it all with a breath of kindness
And just remember…it was all just for a smile
or camaraderie love and companionship
With NO malice towards one and all!!!!
