CLOCK RULES

From the ring of the alarm
To the slipping into the sheets at night
Everything is targeted within a time frame
Set like in a assembly line
None of the routine robotic duties
Can be shifted beyond a limited time frame
There's a time to wake up ,time to get ready
A time  to eat, a time to catch the bus
Amidst all the routine mundane duties
Thoughts about you which are routine too
Have also a very specific time frame
Your thoughts are confined to travelling time to work
Those precious twenty minutes..
Looking out of the window
A dream to dream on
Maybe we are in a gondola in Venice
Or watching the sphinx in Egypt
Or talking to the  yak in the snowy Tibet
Or laughing away in Disney
Wherever.. the trip has to be completed
In twenty minutes flat
For that's all  the time I can give
My dreamland/dream lover and dreams!!!!
