ETHICAL DILEMMA

Expectantly we read the latest word.
"Techniques to change our lives!" the headlines scream.
How do we judge the things that we have heard?
Is this a nightmare, or a happy dream?
Could A. I. write a poem from the heart?
Are clones of imperfection an advance?
Lives 'unbegun' are asked to bear a part,
Donating cells so others have a chance.
In hospitals they use drugs and machines
Life to prolong in some who want to die.
Experience has given us the means.
Maybe we someday soon can know the why.
More questions every answer seems to find,
An ethical dilemma for mankind.
