The deciding moment

Familiarity over a period of time
Breeds contempt.  true
When was the last time
There was a sign of love
In your eyes?
Determination, hard work
perfection, sunday sessions,
 When was the last time
A word of appreciation
Came from the boss????
Sacrifices, care, understanding
Top priorities- children
Their needs
When was the last time
A thank you mother
Came my way??????
Waiting for that deciding moment
When any of these would happen
And reassure
Me of my worth!
