As none have shared before

Come sweet stranger
Let us be alone for a while
And share the sweetness
Of the juices of life
As none have shared before.

Come sweet stranger
Let us share a needed embrace
While our lips reveal
The holding of desires
As none have shared before.

Come sweet stranger
Let us share with each the truth
Of unbridled lust
For the pleasures of love
As none have shared before.

Come, sweet stranger
Our moment is fading away
Let us part knowing
That honestly we've shared
As none have shared before.

~ Michael Bahm ~

Note : This is a love poem or perhaps a poem of desire.  Each stanza is five lines
in length.  This is a free verse poem however I intentionally made sure that
each stanza is made up of 4-8-5-6-6 syllables.  The last line is held as a
refrain.  I deliberately used all soft sounds except in the first word of
each stanza and that is a double entendre in the last stanza because I made
it stand alone by adding the apostrophe.  There are other devices I used to
bring  unity to each stanza and the poem as a whole. - Michael Bahm
