Come be my friend
Fill me with enthusiasm
With determination
No room for hesitation
In an honest outrage
Tell me where have I erred
Be stubborn, be obstinate
Without a twinge of guilt
But let friendship be built

Escape the annoyances of my life
Share my experiences
Share the burdens of my defeated hopes
Illumine the dark pages of my history
Give direction to my life
Be my friend and end my strife

The more I love the more I suffer
Help me fight against the doubt in my mind
Give me moments of insight
Come to understanding with my life
Let me aglow with your fire
Burn with your light
A delicious comfort with your hug
Let me sink in the marvelous security of your arms
Accept me for my remaining stretch
Just be my friend and have no qualms

Come be my friend
Just see with my eyes
Feel with my heart
But judge with your mind

Come be my teacher
Inspire the quest in me
Let me discover the treasure
Expect no reward in return
Just enslave my body and mind
Let your spirit my soul blend
Just be my friend

With a beginning and no end
With honesty to the core
Not a single regrets
