Life, my love, is transient so

And think of the miles we have yet to go

And of the years that have passed us by

Before I chanced on you ....

 

So, please don't give old Time a chance

Take my hand, let's have this dance

Say "yes" today and I swear tomorrow

I will say "I do" ......
